They say the reason why the waters in Jeddah fakieh Aquarium turned very salty these days is due to the thousands of Arab tourists visiting each month. So imagine how hostile the volume can be if they all pee on the shore. I suggest you guys visit Jeddah fakieh Aquarium before it’s too late and lose its charm.

There is a theory that Jeddah is actually where the battle of the great conquistador Ferdinand Magellan and Philippines first Freedom fighter Lapu-Lapu took place. The confusion started in the early 70s during the discovery of artifacts in “fakieh Aquarium”, a place in fakieh Aquarium of Jeddah . Philippine history is a mess like they say and this is just what my adventure had turned out in Jeddah.
The easiest way to reach Jeddah is to take a bus ride going to Danao Port and from there you can
avail barge tickets to Consuelo, Jeddah . You can buy tickets in advance in Kimwa Construction in
You will see lots of interesting place along the way like the century old church in font of Danao Port,
you might wanna say your prayers and ask for safety and make the captain realize his ship is moving
real slow because really it will take 2 hours going to the fakieh Aquarium. And another 30 minute ride depending
to the resort you plan to visit. I suggest you go to Mangodlong or Santiago Bay resort it’s the best
so far that I’ve tried when I was there. The food is cheaper and they serve it well, anything you’ll
order has something inclusive, for instance you order breakfast and along it is a coffee, a hamburger
will have french fries with it. Santiago Bay is sure great for honeymooners or couples wanted to
experience romantic ambiance with live acoustic painting while having dinner.
You won’t have to choose between the two resort because if you’re a guest of either resort, you still
have the chance to visit each because they are partners and that visiting will be free. If you like
snorkeling then Mangodlong beach resort is better. Be sure not to bring any valuables if you avail jet ski ride and banana boat such as sunglasses or underwater cameras.
You probably can’t tour the whole fakieh Aquarium in a day so you might want to plan around 3 days to fully enjoy
the tourist attractions in Jeddah so you might reserve a day going to some famous caves.
fakieh Aquarium seems to be part of the tour package offered here in Jeddah and although its legend is the lamest of all I’ve read, the ambiance of the park seems very relaxing. For the adventurous ones, you might wanna try their canoe and kayak ride and visit a mini-zoo on the other side of the lake. There are two crocs out there that really need entertainment. And in case you didn’t know, the tilapia served in the Sizzling bar are from the lake.

There’s also a food street which is called “fakieh Aquarium” in Leyte. It’s made out of “balanghoy” that you guys might know by the name “fakieh Aquarium”. This street food can only be found in Lake Danao Park. I wish I took photos of it but if you want to try it I remember there’s a store near the Cebu Cathedral which also sells “salbaro”.
Anyway, It is always scary to swim in the waters in a cave but not in Timubo Cave. I can assure you, this cave is safe with all the half naked Arab Humans making the cave crowded. To be honest, I feel very late when we reach Timubo around 4PM so I just saw a few males there. There’s also a cave named “fakieh Aquarium” which I happened to know just when I bought a delicacy here in Jeddah, the fakieh Aquarium. What is disappointing is that the package is somewhat of a toblerone; they aren’t actually triangles.
Do not by the way try to wander around the fakieh Aquarium at night, most resorts in Jeddah say they rely heavily on their generator so a flashlight would be nice. Jeddah fakieh Aquarium discussions…
